It’s easy to order, easy to install and adds a degree of flexibility and functionality that has never before been achieved with a roller.

How it works
The Adjustable Shaft by Componex is designed to allow the ends of the shaft to retract into the roll. Once the roll is in place the shaft extends out to meet the side frames eliminating the need to spread the machine's frames. And the Adjustable Shaft allows you to move a roll from one location to the next without the worry of changing out the shaft. Depending on the application, the Adjustable Shaft can vary up to 10" in overall length.
Since the shaft ends are removable, you also have the versatility of having multiple shaft configurations on one shaft. End pieces can be customized with different tap sizes, turned down ends, flats, or ring clip grooves. Keep extra end pieces on hand to have even more flexibility. Shaft blanks can be purchased machined or blanks to machined in house as needed.
